PROJECTS

Project: Early Learning Center 2000m2

Date of completion: 24 Aug 2023

Short description: Featuring six large and spacious learning spaces all on a single level and leading directly off to the playground. Our early learning programs cater to each child’s stage of development, from six weeks of age to Kindergarten-aged children. Curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and is tailored to your child’s individual interests.

Challenge/Solution: The large-span roof truss system requires the engineer to work closely with the design and structural steel construction teams to ensure a proper mix and match between LGS and structural steel. Solution: Using the IFC file format to coordinate different models, ensuring no clashes occur and minimizing labor costs.

Project: childcare center 4900m2

Date of completion: 12 June 2024

Short description: This project focuses on building a modern childcare center to serve the growing needs of the local community in Australia. Utilizing light gauge steel (LGS) for the structural framework, the design ensures both durability and sustainability, providing a safe and comfortable environment for children. The facility adheres to Australian building standards and prioritizes energy efficiency, reflecting the community’s commitment to eco-friendly construction.

Challenge/Solution: Ensuring the stability of the LGS wall panels was a priority, requiring close coordination with Tekla to align the structural steel as per the client’s specifications. This approach optimized construction time while maintaining the highest standards of quality, ensuring the project was completed efficiently without compromising on structural integrity.

Project: Single/Multi Unit

Date of completion: 03 May 2024

Short description: This project utilizes light gauge steel (LGS) for a modern multi-unit residential complex. The prefabricated steel components ensure efficient construction, reducing labor costs and enhancing sustainability, while providing comfortable, energy-efficient homes that meet Australian standards.

Challenge/Solution: The client imposed strict deadlines, presenting a significant challenge to meet the required schedule. To address this, we implemented a modular design approach, which allowed us to break down the project into smaller, manageable units. By adopting a rolling implementation strategy, we were able to streamline the construction process and maintain continuous progress without delays. This method not only ensured we met the tight deadlines but also optimized labor efficiency and reduced potential bottlenecks during the execution phase.
